Rollerskating Camp Day One

Hi!! Some changes have been made to this blog:
1. At the top of my blog instead of just a title there is a picture that I took that says "The Reflections of a Jolly girl".
2. I made a button for this blog!
3. I changed the layout a bit.
4. I added a review page which doesn't have anything on it yet but soon will!

Today was my first day of roller skating camp. I really like rollerskating and don't get to do it often so I was really excited for this camp. So here is how my day in camp went:
9:00-10:45: Rollerskating! My friend and I talked while rollerskating. It was fun since it was the first time I had been rollerskating in months. I would have to say that the only bad thing was tripping and falling backwards(I also fell frontwards a few times too but this obviously does not hurt as much as falling backwards.) When you're rollerskating, you will fall a few times but usually not backwards. So I guess I just had bad luck.
11:30-12:45: Crab Soccer:( I don't get why we were doing this for so long considering that I was in a rollerskating camp. The counselors divided us up into teams (I got stuck in a bad team with mean sarcastic people) and then we played. The game was basically like soccer except you had to crab walk while playing. Doing this for several minutes straight can get very tiring. We had to play this game in the rollerskating rink. I don't think this was a good idea on the counselors part considering that the people have roller skated  over the rink in stain, dirt, and sweat covered roller skates. Also, this was not a fun game.
1:00-1:25- Lunch. I didn't eat much.
1:25- 2:15- Fun Fitness. This was fun! We did things like juggling tricks and stacking relay races!
2:15-3:00- We played soccer (regular not crab) and spider ball. In soccer nobody passed me the ball and in spider ball I pretty much just sat down the whole time.
3:00-4:00- More crab soccer? I don't understand why we played so much crab soccer instead of rollerskating!
4:00- 5:00: Rollerskating!

I barely got any time to roller skate. I wish I had gotten to roller skate more. After all, I did go to a rollerskating camp. I'm hoping that I will get to skate more tomorrow. I hope you all are having a good summer. Bye!!

Girls Should be Treated With the Same Respect as Boys are!

Hi! Yesterday, at my summer camp, rude comments were made about girls. One boy (who will remain unnamed) said "You guys are probably going to say that you can make all the decisions because you are girls and girls are so bossy." and said "You know what the most annoying thing on the planet is? It is girls!"
I don't think that we should be hurt with these comments. We should be proud that we are girls! We are strong, beautiful, kind, and wise and I don't think that we should even waste our time thinking about a rude comment that contradicts that! I don't care about what somebody else thinks about me or my gender. I care about what I think about my self.
People say girls are bossy and people say girls are mean! But, is all that  really true? What is so different about girls and boys anyway? Sure, they might look different and maybe act different ways, but the fact is that we are all humans, we all live on earth, and when you really think about it girls and boys are not that different at all. If girls and boys are not that different after all, then why are they treated differently? Why are girls who take charge called bossy while boys who take charge are called leaders. Why are girls thought of as weak? Why is a boy always referred to as the leader of the family? Why do stories always portray boys saving girls instead of the other way around?
I'm sick of girls being treated differently and I will not stand for it!

Just Some Causal Updates and Update on Goals

1.  Hi! So, I was thinking about making a reviews page! On that page I would review books, movies, products, etc..... Making a review page would also cross off one of my summer goals for blogging! I was thinking though, couldn't I just put my reviews on the main part of this blog?
So, I wondering, do you guys think I should make a new page?

2.  Before the start of July, I didn't know that there was a follow button where people can follow your blog and you can follow other people's blogs! When I did add a follow button I made a goal to get 5 followers by the end of the summer. I have reached my goal! However, summer hasn't ended yet so my new goal is to have 10 followers by the end of the summer! Please help me reach my goal!

3.  I want to make a button for this blog but I'm not exactly sure how. So, I wondering if anybody could tell me how to do that. I would really appreciate it if someone did!

So, you might remember the post about my blogging goals. Well, I want to update these goals. So the updated new ones are below.

1. Get 10 followers by the end of the summer.
2. Add a new page to my blog.
3. Discover 20 new blogs.
4. Comment on other people's blogs more frequently.
5. Learn some basic html.
6. Make a button for my blog.

I think that those goals are pretty good. At the end of the summer I will have a post that tell you guys the goals I achieved and the goals I didn't.

Have a good day! Bye!

She Walks Along

Her heart
she walks along
her emotions
deceiving smiles.

Everyone knows,
that she is
in themselves,
so she
walks along.

Hiding her
just hoping
that her
will stop
she walks along-
and it does.

Liebster award and Once upon a time

All Once fans including me are waiting for one thing. They are waiting for the Once Upon a Time season four to start! In season four the characters from the movie, Frozen will be included in Once Upon a Time! I can't wait for it to start in fall! These kind of things are what makes Once so interesting to watch- characters that people enjoy(ex: Wicked Witch, Snow White, Evil Queen, etc.....)!!!

Hi! Have any of you ever watched the show Once Upon a Time? If you haven't, you must watch it right now! Once Upon a Time is basically a dramatic show based on fairy tales. Shows usually have two things going on in each episode- meaning that the episode shows you what happened in the past and shows you what is going on in the present. This is good because in Once Upon a Time the past helps you understand what is going on. Also, Once Upon a Time is so captivating . When I started watching the show, I was hooked!! The show has so many twists and cliffhangers! It's just amazing!  I would say that the best thing about Once Upon a Time though, is actually the characters!

I would really recommend watching Once Upon a Time. If you do watch Once Upon a Time please mention what you like about Once Upon a Time in the comments!!
